Much Mutter About Nothing: I See All Colours

Updated: Jan 23

The refrain by some that "I do not see colour" is addressed by Lemn Sissay in his poem 'Colour Blind.' I am reminded of Lemn because it is not only colour that some claim to not see, but then proceed to approach and treat various aspects of the natural world differently: height, gait, beliefs, origin, talent, add any trait you like. And Lemn's own name was not recognised when he was growing up leading to his own rediscovery chronicled in his moving memoir 'My Name is.' A powerful story.
