When My Cousins Come to Town

A wonderfully cover which invites readers in. 'When My Cousins Come to Town' is a packed with fun, is a pleasure to read and will be enjoyed by the little ones all over the world !

The little girl at the centre of the story (we find out her name later) anticipates the summer when her cousins visit. As expected, their days are packed with fun: from karaoke singing to swimming to athletics, there is no activity the children will not attempt and no game they will not play together.

Bravo Angela Shante for the story and  Keisha Morris's illustrations are both a work of art and wonderful for proving imagination for children !    -- Review by Nataka Books

When My Cousins Come to Town

A wonderfully uplifting title and cover which invites readers in.

Everyone has a nickname based on their favourite games and will 'Smurf' eventually get hers? Angela Shante has pulled it off. A simple, lively, singalong book with a story that runs with joy from activity to event as children's days should be. There is the realistic hiccup, when the children argue, but the story resolves that too through the story without preaching. If we would add anything, without making the story too long, would be one of the children playing at being pilots, doctors or writers !

Bravo Angela Shante for the story and  Keisha Morris's illustrations are both a work of art and wonderful for proving imagination for children !
